Thoughts on Thursday: Friendship

I recently lost two highly valued friendships.  They weren't lost due to death, but due either to simply growing apart, an inflated ego, or a casual disregard for another's feelings.  Whatever the reason, I am heartbroken.

  2. Wow, I'm sorry about your friendship losses. That must be hard. One of my professors talked a lot about how certain friendships are not meant to last forever. Rather, they are meant for a specific season of your life. "Crossroad" friends that take you from one season to another.

I hope that you feel more peace about these friendships, and that in time, they renew :)

Thank you for sharing these great quotes! How beautiful.
