Wednesday Wishlist: Tea Time

Care for a spot of tea, anyone?  I was never really a big tea drinker until I recently discovered the wonderfulness that is green tea.   (Is 'wonderfulness' a real word?  If not, it should be!)  To me, tea drinking was reserved for stuffy ladies with white gloves and gigantic hats.  Well, I've since thrown my misguided opinion of tea clean out the window, and pay homage to this beneficial beverage with these lovely tea-drinking vessels we call teapots.  As usual, I found these browsing Etsy....Treasury East this time!...and would like to thank whiskeypointpottery for curating the beautiful "Green Tea Anyone" treasury.  It's stunning I tell you, just stunning, and makes me want to start a teapot collection!

You should know the drill by now, but it bears repeating....please, please, PLEASE show these talented artists some love and appreciation for their fine crafts by right clicking on each link to open their shop in a new window.  Thank you!!

Wednesday Wishlist: I Wish You Liked My Stuff

OK, I admit it. I was too lazy to actually put together this week's Wishlist, so I decided to take this opportunity to shamelessly promote my own creations. I'm entitled to do that every now and then, right? I mean it is in my and my business's best interest to put forth some effort in the promotion, advertising, and marketing departments, and this blog is part of my business, so what the heck. Just go along with it, will ya? :) Anyway, I've selected five items from each of my Etsy shops for a total of 10. To see a complete product lineup from each shop, right click on these links to open the shop in a new window:

Thanks for visiting, and I promise to be back next week with a brand new theme!

Wednesday Wishlist: Etsy's Create Crochet Team

For this week’s Wednesday Wishlist I want to give a nod to my fellow team members from Etsy’s Create Crochet Team, made up of Etsians from all over the world. I’ve got to tell you the talent on this Team is extraordinary. Arm these fine folks with a crochet hook and some yarn and there’s no telling what they’ll whip up. I am constantly inspired by the items these good people list in their shops, and am proud to be part of such a wonderful Team.

And I just have to mention that the Create Crochet group is a kind, caring, compassionate bunch as evidenced by the frenzied crocheting of chemo caps and other items to benefit Relay for Life in which one of our own team members, Creationsbym2, is participating.  For details on this Charity Event, check out the Team Blog.  Be sure to check out our Team's Facebook Page as well.

Please show my team members some love by right-clicking on their shop names to open their Etsy shop in a new window. Let’s hear it for Create Crochet!

Wednesday Wishlist: Personal Desires

This week my Wednesday Wishlist takes a personal turn.  I didn't search the internet for any fabulous finds; instead, I searched within myself.  You see, I've been a bit down lately, and anyone who's ever suffered even the mildest case of depression knows that no amount of money can buy happiness.  So this is my list of personal desires that would bring enormous joy to my very heavy heart. :(

1.  Children that behave.
2.  People who don't judge others.
3.  Eight hours of peaceful, restful sleep each and every night.
4.  Yoga!
5.  Neighbors who are neighborly instead of nosy and nasty.
6.  A surprise email/text/call from an old friend.
7.  Three words: I.  Love.  You.
8.  Three more words:  You.  Are.  Forgiven.
9.  The cat's fur to grow back.
10.  A genuine, meaningful hug.
